High, cloud-tossed skies and a seemingly endless sea of sage-colored foliage sweep off to the far horizon at Black Kettle National Grasslands, a protected, lake-dotted region popular with outdoors enthusiasts, wandering cattle and photographers.
Oklahoma City National Memorial honors the victims, survivors, rescuers, and all who were changed forever on April 19, 1995. The outdoor Symbolic Memorial, which consists of the following segments on 3.3 acres, can be visited. The Gates of Time, monumental twin gates, frame the moment of destruction - 9:02 - and mark the formal entrances to the Memorial.

The Memorial grounds are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rangers are on-site daily from 9:00a.m.-5:30p.m. and on-site from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to provide information from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Labor Day through Memorial Day. Rangers will not be available on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Days.

Interstates 35, 40 and 44 intersect in Oklahoma City. From Interstate 40, take Interstate 235 North, exit Harrison Avenue, which merges into Sixth Street.
