Native Americans, pioneers and cowboys may have shaped the course of a young Oklahoma City but these days this oil-rich center has come into its own for other reasons, though never forgetting its old-west culture.
Will Rogers Memorial Center is a venue that encompasses entertainment as well as sports and livestock, although it is most famous as the home of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. It's almost as famous for hosting the World Expo of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America, several annual events for the National Cutting Horse Association, and also the World Championship Paint Horse Show. All these cattle and horses aside, the complex does contain an auditorium and exhibits hall.
